The CERT Seminar 2026 is the 13th National Company Emergency Response Team Seminar organised by theAssociation of Company Emergency Response Teams (Singapore). This annual flagship event brings together CERT practitioners, safety professionals, emergency response leaders, and industry partners to examine current challenges, emerging risks, and evolving best practices in organisational emergency preparedness and response.
Designed with a strong operational and practitioner focus, the seminar provides participants with timely insights into national fire safety trends, real-world case studies, and the practical application of technology in emergency response environments. Through keynote addresses, expert presentations, and moderated panel discussions, delegates will gain a deeper understanding of how frontline operations, coordination, decision-making, and human resilience collectively contribute to effective CERT performance.
The 2026 programme places particular emphasis on how emerging technologies, including AI-enabled surveillance and decision-support tools, can enhance situational awareness, early detection, and coordinated response—while reinforcing the critical role of trained CERT personnel on the ground. In parallel, the seminar highlights the importance of mental resilience and psychological readiness, recognising that human performance under pressure is a key determinant of successful emergency outcomes.
Beyond knowledge sharing, the CERT Seminar 2026 also serves as a professional engagement and networkingplatform, enabling participants to exchange experiences, learn from industry peers, and engage directly with public agencies and solution providers. The seminar reinforces A-CERTS’ ongoing commitment to strengthening CERT capabilities, promoting workplace safety, and supporting organisations in building robust and sustainable emergency response frameworks.
